Be totally honest on your Life Insurance application

If there was ever an insurance application where you should be extremely careful to disclose all relevant information upfront, then life insurance is it. Obviously it will be sad if someone needs to claim on your policy, but it will sadder still if it turns out that their claim is rejected due to information you withheld when you originally set the policy up. It's just not worth it, as insurance companies will make some careful checks before they agree to pay out what may be potentially several thousand pounds. If facts about you cause your premiums to be too expensive, then consider reducing the level of cover, rather than being economical with the truth.
